Although we were a little down last night, today made up for it.

I cannot help but smile today. When I was at the hospital today
alls I see our sad parents that looked at me like I was crazy. I have my many
moments of sadness but I try to be as happy as I can possibly be. My kids make
me laugh every day. Ellie with her cute little comments that crack us up and
Jake with his awesome boy band dancing. I just can’t help but smile, yes our
future is unknown or unwritten but we are in charge of writing our life day to
day. This cancer is a lifetime challenge that Ellie will have to endure, so do
we just sit back and frown forever. Heck no, we instead have an annoyingly big
smile on our face and enjoy as much life as we got. So my message here is no
matter what you are going through at the moment remember that life can always
get worse so enjoy, laugh, and best of all Dance like it’s your last night of
your life.
Oh yeah if you didn’t get from my happy message, It was a
fantastic day at chemo. As a matter of face one of the doctors looked at me and
said today it’s so nice to see someone smiling. I guess in there line of work
they don’t see many smiles. I don’t think there has been a time when we have not
smiled at least once down at children’s.
Oh yeah I forgot to add that Ellie got choosen to go onto a fantasy flight to see santa with United Airlines.  It never leaves the ground but we actually get on a plan and get off somewere at O'Hare to see santa.  How cool is that.  Anyhow just another fun thing to look forward to in life.  We are blessed for sure.
