Crazy.. Just Crazy...

As some of you read on my facebook I opened my first bill last night.  The Bill was just for our hospital stay.  It was for $86,372.00 that’s after insurance.  That’s right I did not make a typing air.  So right after I got the bills this was my post on facebook:

·         We just opened hospital bill. After Ins. we owe $86,372.00. That does not include the Pathology, radiology, Neuro. Doctors.  I am in SHOCK. Dave and I looked at each other and said we are selling Pool Passes to our little pool in the back this summer. Pool Passes for $1000.00 a pop, we only need 86 people to buy them. lol. The Hospital could at least send a frame with this bill so we can hang it on the wall. That’s one mighty expensive piece of artwork.

So needless to say Dave and I went through a few stages of emotions after getting that news.  We started with the laughing silly stage. This morning I went through the Pissed off stage.  So I decided to head to the Taekwondo School and hit some bags.  I need to get out my frustration with everything going on.  It did help a little.

Later this afternoon we had Ellie’s Principle, Assistant Principle, and her Kindergarten Teacher stop by.  Ellie spent most of the time hiding behind my sister.  I truly must say that since Ellie has been diagnosed I have never had so many people at my house.  Ask my family, no one was aloud over because Dave has many unfinished project around the house and it’s just too cluttered until we are officially done.  But I now have the feeling I really don’t care at this point.  My house being a little messy and cluttered and unfinished projects are the last thing on my mind and who knows if those projects will ever get done.

It’s amazing when you have a traumatic experience how it changes your views on life.

On a good note.  I will be adding more auction items tomorrow sometime.  Pretty amazing stuff so check it out.  Some people have told me some of the stuff is out of there price range we have stuff for all price ranges so come check them out.  I have probably only named 25% of the stuff Terri has collected.  This is just the stuff that I have heard about or has come through me.

So the big item of the day that we have:

Drum Roll Please……

An autographed Black Hawk Jersey

Now you may ask autographed by whom?  The whole team from this year autographed it.  That’s right. Now you might be asking how we stumbled upon this awesome item.

A family friend takes a class with one of the Black Hawks Wives and she got the Jersey and had the whole team sign it for Love for Ellie Nights auction.  It was donated by:  Tanya and Jassen Cullimore of the Black Hawks

That’s right I have connections, now if only I had connections with the Hospital to take care of that bill ;o).  That’s ok life is good, Ellie is alive and we cannot put a price tag on the most wonderful little girl in the world.

Looking forward to seeing everyone Friday Night, 7pm at “This Must Be the Place”.  You can Park across at the train station.

P.S. Check out the shirts they are selling in honor of Ellie.
