Sorry for not writing yesterday.  I was in bed by 10pm.  Probably the earliest in the longest time.  Ellie had a rough Thursday she was exhausted she didn’t go to school and then the tutor came over around 3:30 as soon as she left Ellie fell asleep till this morning.  I really think that blood transfusion is going to help her get her energy back, at least for a while.  She then woke up pretty sluggish.  She went to speech and then came back home and slept again.  When she woke up I asked her if she wanted to go shopping with me.  I had a birthday gift to pick up.  She wanted to.  Dave asked me why, just let her stay home.  I said “because I had a girl so that she can go shopping and do girly things with me.”  Dave rolled his eye.  Men just don’t understand. ;o)  Every store we went into Ellie had to sit in the cart, it’s just too much for her to walk around.  Pretty much our past two days with Ellie have involved her sleeping and resting.  But she is in great spirits, which make Dave and me very happy.

A quick side note.  Two days in a row my kids have told me we have to get something because of an infomercial.  Example yesterday they had a commercial/infomercial for a product for your ears to help old people hear.  Jake said in a very exciting voice “Mom, Mom, we need to get this for our ears to help us hear better”  Dave and I just turned to one another and laughed.  There was not a single person in the commercial under the age of 65 years old, but my son thinks he needs it for his 5 year old ears.  But I really thought about this Jake doesn’t listen, now if it helped with listening skills I would be all over it.

Then today Ellie told me today that we needed something off the wall on a commercial today.  It was something for adults.  But the best part is both of them act like they are the newest and greatest toys out there.  The power of commercials.  They do work on 5 & 6 year olds.  Well maybe not all kids but defiantly mine.  Night all and smiles from the Cuiching's tonight.
