Handling it well.

Sorry I have not written this weekend.  Ellie is handling the Chemo like a champ.  She has had allot of pain in her Jaws so eating has been challenging but over all I am very proud of how she is doing.  The doctors did warn us that it may take a few weeks before more symptoms appear. 

Today Ellie actually played and laughed like a normal kid.  We went to pump it up for my cousin’s kid’s birthday party.  She played for a while and then got extremely tired and a little dizzy.  She then just sat around for the remainder of the party. But for that short time she was acting like a normal kid.  What did make me sad was as I was walking her to the car she told me that she wanted to go home because she couldn’t do the things that the other kids did.  She just wants to be a normal kid but her body is not letting her.  Poor girl but I am so proud of her courage through this.
