Is hoping I can breath tomorrow...

It is so hard to believe that Ellie has been released to go back to school already.  She was supposed to start on Monday but the hospital never sent the letter. I didn’t get any sleep on Sunday night; I worried about everything from  Ellie being tired to her hair not being a hit with the kids.  What a waste of a night of no sleep.  I am sure I will be up all night tonight thinking about her first day back to school.  I am so nervous and my heart drops every time Ellie does anything my heart feels like it stops.  Example
this weekend she went on to her cousin’s backyard play set and as I watched I cannot tell you how many times I stopped breathing every time she climbed a later. I have to constantly remind myself that she is a kid and we need to let her enjoy her childhood.

We had a pretty busy night tonight. We did some homework, went to swim lessons, went to church, and finished
off by washing Ellie’s Head of hair.  We all had a great laugh after I washed Ellie’s hair. I needed to dry her head of hair so my wonderful husband volunteered to wear it for me.  This just proves what an amazing father and husband he is. The kids and I had a good laugh to go along with the drying of the hair.  For now kids are sleeping and wish us luck on Ellie’s first day back to school since her surgery.  I know I can’t hold my breath for the 3 ½ hours so I guess I will just have to let go.

Oh yeah I wanted to thank everyone that is following my blog and being Ellie’s biggest cheerleaders. Thank you for your love, support, and prayers.

P.S. I am posting a picture of Dave with his Head of hair. ;o) I know I will have to pay the price for this but it is so worth it.
