long tired day for Ellie

What a long day we had.  Ellie woke up with leg pains and tired.  I kept her home from school and she pretty much lay around all day.  I was hopeful that she would have had more energy after the blood transfusion but not so much today.  Tonight my Mom and Step-Dad took her to grandparent bingo at her school.  She had a great time but you can tell she wasn’t feeling well when they offered to take her to dinner and she said no she just wanted to go home.  They even offered to pickup McDonalds up and she turned that down too.

 Jake has had a few very difficult days lately.  We just got done putting him to bed as he was screaming and crying.  I know he is going through a rough time.  He has been acting out and not listening.  It’s so hard to hear him cry, I just want to cuddle him and hold him close.  But I know that will just make things worse. 

Make a wish contacted me today and scheduled a meeting with us. I was really excited to get the phone call from them. All and all today was a very long day but I cannot complain.
