We had a fantastic weekend with a nice visit from
Dave’s Sister Aunt Myrlee and her boyfriend.  They came all the way from California.  We did lots of fun things including going to the sky deck at the Willis towers.
Ellie and Jake have never been, come to think of it the last time Dave and I went was 12 years ago.  Our
other big news is that my parents bought Ellie a shit zu puppy.  Ellie has been begging for a puppy and or dog.
On Wednesday night they took her to pick out a puppy.
She of course picked out a female that is so calm and loving.  Ellie carries it everywhere with her like a baby.
The puppy has been the main reason I have not written in almost a week.  I have been trying to get
adjusted to having a puppy around the house. It’s worth it to see Ellie’s face light up every time she pets or holds the puppy.  Ellie insisted on naming it Sam even though it’s a girl. The puppy is getting tons of love from this family.

Today was chemo day for Ellie.  As we headed downtown
I just prayed her counts were back up so she could get chemo. Ellie was so upset that we were going downtown she cried yesterday and said “I am not going.”  Luckily my
sister let us bring Kenton downtown with us to soften the blow.  Ellie handled the chemo pretty well except the access to the port.  I always feel so bad for the nurse that
has to do the access because Ellie is so mad and she screams and fights.  But it was all worth it because she got
her chemo today.  Isn’t sad that it makes me happy that I get to pump my child with poison. We got downtown at 7:30am and then got out around 1:30pm so it was a fast moving day today.

Today I had to begin my cleansing for my colonoscopy tomorrow.  It is only 7pm and I am starving.  I don’t
have the procedure till 1:00pm tomorrow.  I just hope they can find the problem and it is an easy fix.  Sometimes I feel like our life is full of such drama, I wish we had a boring life.  But for now this is our life and I guess we will make the best of it.  Friday is Relay for Life at the sports plex in Lemont on 131st and Bell road.  My Mom or I will be speaking, it all depends on weather I think I can hold it together to speak.  I hope Ellie is in good spirits so that everyone can see how sweet she truly is. But
for now I will say goodnight for I need to get rest for tomorrow.

I have pictures but missplaced my camera, so when I fin
