So grateful, and focusing on today not the future.

As I look at Ellie as she is sleeping, I feel so blessed that she is so sweet and kind. Before her surgery this morning Ellie's Aunt called and asked her "is there anything I can bring you"  Ellie's response was so cute, she said "well just Kenton."  Kenton is my three year old nephew that Ellie loves watching over when they play.  God has truely blessed me.  Let me explain to the many of you that think I am crazy because we still do not know what the future will hold for Ellie.  Ellie is a miricle, without the discovery of this tumor she would not be with us today.  She is strong, sweet, kind, and so adorable and we have been able to enjoy many great moments over the past nine months.  We pray that we will have many more endless moments.

I can not thank all the friends, family, and the people that don't know our family but have fallen in love with Ellie through her story.  Your prayers are always welcome.  Although Ellie has made it out of surgery she has a long journey ahead and once again we ask that you keep her in your prayers. Although Ellie has not won her battle with her tumor and we will have to do Chemo therapy for 60 weeks in hopes for the growth to stop, we are thinking very positive today.  We are focusing on the fact that she woke up from surgery talking.  This is a huge step.  The doctors will be watching Ellie closely over the next few days to make sure she doesnt have any fluid build up in her brain.  So we just wait and watch at this point.

Some of you have commented what you can do for our family.  My brain is so fried at this point I can't even begin to think of anything at this point.  Ellie's kindergarten Teacher and now Jake's teacher has offered to make dinners for us the first week we are home from the hospital. Thank you to Mr. & Mrs. Landgrave for planning out the meals we are looking forward to that.

I have to get going my labtop has stopped taking charge so its about to die on me.  My phone charger is also not working.  Oh so much fun with electronics. As long as the machine's Ellie are on are working we are all good.  I do apologize for all my grammer and spelling mistakes no time to take care of them.  Hopefully I will figure something out for tomorrow to keep you all upto date on Ellie's condition.  Much Love Kyle Cuiching
