Sunday and Monday

Make sure to scroll all the way down I updated for each day we were at brain tumor camp.

Sunday 7/17/11
Today was the last day of camp.  I had many sad tears.
I have made such connections with these families and it was almost like a family reunion.  We all just
clicked immediately and had such a great time.  During the closing ceremony we had to
present our crest that we put together that explains our family.  We also got awarded a bracelet from our family counselor.  Then we watched a video montage of our weekend.  Although it was just an extended weekend it felt like a week of fun.  I really didn’t want to say goodbye and
I never expected to become so close to these families.
We all related on a total different level.
It’s hard to explain.  It was an amazingly emotional and fun weekend.

Monday 7/18/2011
Today we got the results from the thyroid test.
We found out that we are blessed and god answered my prayers this weekend.  Ellie does not have a
thyroid problem.  This was fantastic news.  It couldn’t have
gotten better.  We have a fun filled day of events with Ellie and Jake.  My goal is to make sure Ellie lives.  Lives a full life no matter how much time she has we will do everything in our power to make sure she gets everything
and anything she wants (within reason of course) I’m sure if this was your child you would do the same.
