Ellie was up most of the night in extreme pain. They took her off the morphine but she is still in extreme pain. We got up and just walked for maybe a minute or so and she was screaming that she was dizzy and it hurt. Everytime she moves her head she says she is dizzy. I have to remind myself that she is missing a part of her brain and that it is all jumbled and it is going to take some time to heal.
Ellie's old Kindergarten teacher is a dear friend of ours Adriene Landgrave. She has volunteered to organize a meal calendar were everyone can signup to bring us dinners once we arrive home. I know some of you were asking what you can do for us. Well this would be the best thing possible for us, if I didnt have to worry about dinner everynight and can just focus on taking care of Ellie. If you are interested in helping out you would just email Adriane at [email protected] I can not believe how sweet and thoughtful everyone has been through this whole process. I wanted to thank everyone for the love and support. |
