Well here I am

I am so sorry I have not writen in such a long time.
Life has thrown us tons of good times along with twists and turns in Ellie's medical status.  Ellie has not been able to have Chemo now for four weeks due to her counts being low.  We received some difficult news last week and I am still processing the information.  I am hoping that I will be able to tell everyone very soon.  But until then I wanted to let everyone know what a fabulous couple of weeks Ellie has had.  Because she has not had Chemo this has given her such a positive attitude the past few weeks.  She was able to have a great pool party with some family members.  She began school and is loving it.  She has a very sweet teacher named Mrs. Duffy.  She also has three of her really good friends in her class.  The first day of schoo I decided to have the girls over for a pool play date to help her get back in the grove of things.  She was so excited to be spending time with her friends. And finally we just got back from a family vacation at Blue Harbor Resort in Wisconsin and water park.  It was an awesome weekend, my parents rented the lakeside villa.  This is our third year going to this resort with family.  The hardest thing is packing up all the food to take with and then the unpacking when we get home.  My house is a disaster but I can really care less I will unpack in my owntime. I have not seen Ellie smile so much in I dont remember how long.  She absolutely loved it.  Her favorate part was chasing Papa in the lazy river.   Unfortunatly this is going to be a short letter.  The last day of vacation I sliced the tip of my finger in half so typing is a little difficult.  I do promise now that school is getting back in the swing of things I will be bloging more often.  I will post pictures from first day of school, Ellie's Birthday (I forgot to mention a great foundation Icing smiles, owner Melissa from Honey Bee Cakes for donating a cake for Ellie's party), Ellie's play date, and Our vacation. Also Ellie lost her two front teeth so we have a picture of that too.
One more important thing, I wanted to thank Still Grass and Annie for putting together a benifit for Ellie at Ed & Joe's in Tinley Park.  I can not believe how much love and support our family has been surounded by.  It helps us carry on when we dont think we can.  Thank you again.
