RAK - Random Act of KindnessEllie was a very kind person that loved doing Random Acts of Kindness. A Random Act of Kindness or RAK is a selfless act performed by kind people to either help or cheer up a random stranger or friend, for no reason other than to make people happier. Kindness is contagious. It all starts with one act – one smile, one coffee for a stranger, one favor for a friend. It’s an opportunity for participants to leave the world better than they found it and inspire others to do the same. After performing your RAK please make sure to share on #elliestrong Facebook page either photos or stories of how you brought kindness to the world.
1 • Wear Green (ellie's favorite color because it represented growth)
2 • perform a RAK (Random Act of Kindness) 3 • Print You Been RAK'ed card and present it to person you are performing Random Act of Kindness for 4 • Share your story or/and your photos on elliestrong facebook page. Make sure to #elliestrong Ok here we go. I'm sharing a photo of Ellie on her Make-a-wish performing a RAK - Random Act of Kindness. Let me explain, we where on an island and there was this hungry little girl following Ellie around when Ellie offered her some of her food. Although this seems like a small RAK it actually was a huge one in Ellie's eyes because Ellie was a very picky eater (because she was on chemotherapy) she would only eat certain foods this being one of them so for her to share was so sweet and kind. Remind your kids to perform a RAK tomorrow and take a photo or make a note on here. Help carry groceries or load groceries in someone’s car. Go visit a nursing home and spend time with them. Help mow the lawn, draw a picture for someone, write a nice note, be nice to a person that needs a friend, etc. For Adults, Help mow the lawn, pay for someone’s coffee or lunch. Get creative I can't wait to see how Ellie has inspired you tomorrow.
Be present and enjoy your day tomorrow. Tomorrow Ellie’s Birthday May 20this going to be a very difficult day for me but I am actually looking forward to seeing the ripples of kindness that Ellie has brought to this world in her short 14 years. |

Ellie is going to be greatly missed but I promise her spirit will live on. The #Elliestrong movement will continue. Thank you for your love and support. This song was made by my Uncle after Ellie's first diagnosis many many years ago. I promise I will get back to blogging and update what has transpired in the past few weeks. But for now I am focusing my efforts on Ellie's celebration of Life..
This has not been updated in so long. so its not accurate.
Ellie was diagnosed at the age of 6 with a very large rare Brain Tumor. Since she has been through three 9 hour brain surgeries, almost 40 weeks of Chemotherapy. Ellie's future is unknown but with the power of prayer, love and support we will make it through.
My Uncle wrote this incredible song to help raise funds for Ellie’s medical costs. His band sang it and had it professionally done, if you donate to the Ellie Fund see the link below, then you will get the song Emailed to you. Thank You for your love and support.
